I just watched a humorous look at what life is like lately for many service providers.  In a “down” economy, many customers or clients think it’s perfectly fine to try to haggle down prices for services, or even goods, because their budgets are tight.

I hate to say it, but every business I have come into contact with is dealing with a slow economy.  Yes, there are some that are doing better than ever, but overall, most are constantly looking at their bottom line and trying to make the assests they have go as far as they can.

Before you try to “negotiate” a lower price for another business’ products or services, watch this video to gain some perspective on how ridiculous some of the arguments sound.

Bartering is a different story, though.
